About Majeed Kalandariya
Raised between loss and love, Majeed Kalandariya writes and teaches with one aim — to turn hardship into hope, and give every reader words of courage, kindness, and dignity that last beyond the classroom.
My Journey
Where grief ended, and blessings began.
I was four when my father passed away. Life could have swallowed me in loss, but one woman stood firm: Grandmother Asiya. With courage and sacrifice, she carried me to Kalandariya Orphanage, believing it would give me the shelter and future I deserved.
As a child, I longed for what seemed simplest — a warm embrace, care, and love. There were days I wished someone would hold me close and tell me I was not alone. I grew up without new clothes or the comforts others enjoyed, yet those hardships forged resilience, discipline, and an unbreakable spirit.
At the orphanage, I met a guiding light: Shaikhuna Hamza Usthad. He was more than a teacher — he became a father in patience, protection, and love. His presence gave me the shelter of the father I had lost, and his guidance still carries me forward.
Through his blessing, I found guidance from many noble souls. I was surrounded by Teachers from different walks of life who became more than educators. They were mentors, companions, and a family of the heart. I shared everything with them, and before each step I took, they blessed me, guided me, and stood beside me.
“I was once a child longing for love. Today, I carry that longing forward — embracing every child I teach, and every reader I write for.”
Carrying the Blessings Forward
With the blessings of Grandmother Asiya, the guidance of Shaikhuna Hamza Usthad, and the wisdom of devoted teachers, I journeyed from grief into learning — and from learning into giving.
At Jamia Nooriya Arabic University, I became Faizy. At Kalandariya Orphanage, I returned as a teacher.
Today, I offer children not only knowledge, but the dignity, encouragement, and love I once longed for.
Living the Promise
For every child — knowledge with dignity. Stories with kindness.
Every child deserves knowledge with dignity and love without condition. The classrooms I teach and the stories I write keep one promise: to kindle courage, practice kindness, and leave lessons that outlast the page and the year.
Stories that guide. Lessons that endure. Hope that lights the way.
